Cerithium ball on black base

Cerithium coralium, a dark, spiral-shaped dark shell, lives in the Indo-Pacific zone seas, in the muddy soil of mangroves and estuaries. When you slice the shell, the contrast between the white inside and the dark outside of each small circle is fascinating. The black and brass base adds a refined touch to this ball.
